The Hanging Beam

In the late 1800s, a Mankato hardware store owner produced a beam claimed to be the top rail where the ropes were attached when the 38 Native Americans were hung in 1862. Months of thorough investigation by historians and engineers came to a conclusion as to the authenticity of his claim. Includes step by step analysis of the truth of his claim and draws its own conclusion. This talk shows methods of historical investigating and analysis.
